From his younger days of championship horse riding, to years of competitive drag racing, Lee Sharp has demonstrated a personal discipline to excel in everything he does. And these are just his hobbies; Lee’s real passion always has been the land.

Over the years, Lee has spent his days and nights working on golf courses, roads, marine construction and more. He learned from master craftsmen in every part of the industry who lived, ate, drank and breathed land development. Lee’s mentors brought a combined service of over 100 years experience to their work.

Serious About Success

After working on land development projects all across the Southeast, Lee finally settled in the Knoxville area in 1987. Within seven years, Lee started Sharp Contracting, Inc. with an eye on quality and a drive for ongoing improvement. No matter how successful he has been, Lee continues to ask, “How can we do it better?”
